Join a paint-along forum with artist Jessie Boice and we'll talk about some of the issues that we ALL sometimes struggle with in our watercolor painting. We'll tackle a simple painting project and discuss different methods of how to get a painting done - including how to deal with "goofs" that occur, general pointers, and trouble-shooting. Everyone is encouraged to share the obstacles they could use help with - and to share their own helpful ideas that we can use! this workshop is for those who have worked with watercolor previously, and participants are asked to bring their paints, brushes and paper for "comparison purposes" (no judging - just to address any issues that might be related to the type of materials you're using!) Additional materials will also be supplied.

Jessica Boice is a watercolor artist, maker, and educator living in Warren, PA. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and was awarded Honorable Mention in the Society's 2025 Online Members Show. In May of this year she was one of the 30 artists selected for the inaugural "older Artists of PA Showcase" displayed at the State Capitol. Jessica has been featured in solo exhibits, and also in the annual Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Member Shows, the Tri-County Arts Council's Small Works Members Shows, and with the Warren Art League's group exhibits.
